Electronic Test Development Centres (ETDCs)

These laboratories are located at the industrial centres in various states and are equipped to render services as per the needs of the local industry. These centres are specifically oriented to assist small / medium Enterprises (SME) to provide the following services:

• Test facilities for various electronic products under development / production
• Calibration facilities for electronic test equipments in use by the industries
• Developmental assistance and improvement of Quality and Reliability of electronic products
• Environmental test facilities like high humidity, high-low temperature, Salt, corrosion etc.
• Training to industry

The scientists working in ETDCs have been trained and certified by National / International Institutes in their respective work areas. Facilities at each ETDC are augmented every year keeping in view the local industry requirements and technological transitions.

National Accreditation Board has accredited services rendered by most of these ETDCs for Test and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).
